Multi-channel marketing trends

Email remains the spine of cross-channel marketing in Australia, becoming a virtual mandatory for almost all organisations. However, two clear trends are emerging:

1) Multi-channel: use of the mobile channel increased 5-fold, social 10-fold, and many companies are becoming very sophisticated with how they use them.

2) life-cycle: Nearly half of the companies surveyed have set up a preference centre, asking customers how and when they would like to be contacted. Further, nearly three-quarters of companies run a Welcome Program, around one-third have a Browser or Cart Abandonment Program, and nearly half have a Win Back Program.

When these two themes converge, marketers are well on the way towards what we call ‘New School Marketing.’

We can help you to deliver your website to a mobile channel.  We can help you to improve your online interaction with members and help you to improve your email marketing and communication using Mail Management – you can send all of your emails to members utilising all of the member data and store your email communication activity.  For more information go to:

 Creating your e-newsletter or magazine

Some tips for creating good e-newsletters that increase traffic and that add value to your website.

E-newsletters should be created as a rich text email with headlines only in the email.  Each headline has a link to the actual article which resides on your website.  This increases traffic to your website. Be sure to create similar headlines in your website to the current articles..

We provide exactly this functionality in our e-newsletter functionality that is part of our WordPress suite of website software.  Learn more at http://growyourcommunity.com.au/website/newsletter/ .
